First class dining experience commonly takes place at skyscraper buildings, romantic beach or scenery savanna. Genting Dream, one of the front liners in Asian cruise market, brought the experience into the slow currents of Singapore Strait.

Presenting vast well-crafted cuisines of the sea from one of the world’s best Chefs, Mark Best, through an excellent culinary experience, the journey showed how important the connection between land and sea, as well as history and cultures are in creating palatable, high quality dishes.

Welcomed by the master Chef himself, the wine pairing dinner made guests understand more about the history, precious stories and how great food should be. Presenting an array of epicurean fusion best creations such as Lobster Rendang with Potato & Leek, Black Cod Baked in Tomato, Chilli & Olives and Pandan Ice Cream Mango & Anzac Biscuit, the Michelin Star Chef swore by the importance of quality, taste and history besides great presentation that he is notably known for.

Docking at Port Klang, Malaysia, Mark Best and Genting Dream crew impressed the guests once again with signature authentic seafood dishes at the well-known Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant. Presenting tasty meals like Homemade Kam Hiong, Steamed Fish “Grouper-Long Fu Pan’ and traditional fermented coconut flower beverages, the shore excursion time in Klang gives an insight on how Asian cuisine connects with each other. Mark Best held a Lobster Rendang cooking demo and gave tips on how to create an exceptional fusion cuisine using the easiest method.

Completing the well-rounded culinary journey, the registered guests were able to enjoy a variety of first-rate cruise facilities, like Marimekko suite stay-in and its exquisite afternoon tea, entertainment facilities like Zouk nightclub and world-class show at Zodiac Theatre, ship tour exploring main docks and exclusive suites, and finally a closing thank you dinner at the bustling Umi Uma Teppanyaki.
