The annual Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) has returned for another successful year of bringing automotive advancement within the Indonesian market.

The automotive festival was more vibrating as a celebration for the automotive industry rather than merely a selling venue for cars. Even so, most guests were coming to spot their future favorites as they are brought on the table. HighEnd highlighted the most exciting innovations for every type of car: the face-lifted, the remake, and the infant of future technology.

The Fastest and Most Furious: Bugatti Veyron

One of the biggest surprises on the event is the exhibition of Bugatti Veyron, the fastest car in the world. The hypercar was brought by Prestige Image Motorcars and arrives as the highest-pricing vehicle available to purchase at IIMS. It was directly brought from France and comes as the only unit showcased in Indonesia, currently. This mid-engine, W16 quad-turbocharged hyper-sportcar can reach 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds, with a maximum torque of 1,500 Nm in 1,001 horsepower, and a top speed of 408 km/h.

Master of SUV: Maserati Levante

Like the Mediterranean wind it was named after, Maserati Levante was engineered to master any situations effortlessly, from mild to gale force strength, in an instant. It features the highest comfort whilst delivering outstanding performance combining theluxurious and adventurous. It comes with an eight-speed gearbox, Maserati’s sophisticated intelligent Q4 AWD and a torque vectoring system for a truly exhilarating drive. At IIMS, it was brought by Glamour Auto Boutique, along with numerous other luxury cars.

Electric Intelligence: Mercedes-Benz EQ Power

Although it is not a new category of car variant, per se, EQ Power is definitely a whole new standard in electric car line. Implemented in the E 350e Plug-in Hybrid model, the concept car offers a comprehensive electric mobility ecosystem of products, services, technologies, and innovations. The new power electronics have allowed further increases in the electric motor's output and torque to 65 kW (88 hp) and 440 Nm, respectively.
