Who wouldn’t love gin with barbecue? As we enter hotter days in 2019, Gran Melia Jakarta presents “The Gin Garden 69” starting from March 14, 2019.


If you are not unfamiliar with El Bombon, one of Gran Melia’s Jakarta dining sites, you will notice something new on Monday to Friday, starting from 1PM to 10PM. Hosted by experienced Beverage Manager, Zulkarnain, the hotel presents a total of 69 kinds of gin cocktails—and you didn’t mishear it.

With so many choices, you can find any taste you like—starting from the classics to eclectic ones. The menu is divided into seven categories: Home-made Infused, The House-Crafted, The Millennial Martini, The Legends, Easy Going, Bubbled Up and On Fire. The categories’ taste notes come from a variety of ingredients, starting from herbs like Indian spices and black peppers, coffee beans, Bombay Sapphire, Monkey 47, and others. The bartenders will kindly assist you to get what you expect for, according to your taste.

As an appetizing variety of drink, gin and spices will get our palate prepared for a bar of juicy barbecue selection and salad. Our favorite includes cayenne spiced chicken and salmon in foil with herb butter. There are also desserts for those who have sweet tooth.
